While all may seem quite dark right now
And the sunlight gone away
There is a healing time to come
The sadness will not stay

With time there comes a softening
That wipes away our tears
We remember all the happy times
That we shared throughout the years

Hold on to cherished memories
And know in the days to come
That smiles will overcome the hurt
And clouds will turn to sun.
