This website would not have been possible if not for a little bit of luck I came across one day. I stumbled onto a site called Budding HTML Gurus whilst looking for something to do with HTML. I glanced at the page and started reading and my eyes lit up. It was definately not what I had been looking for but who was complaining! It was much better! Learn to code by hand, learn at your own speed, someone always standing by ready to help and all the encouragement a person could dream of. And your thinking ok...now tell me how much? The price it cost is the same to everyone and that is the value you place on the time you decide to dedicate to learning what they are willing to teach you. For way to long I played with editors and WYSIWYG programs and yes, they do the job, but do you know what they are really doing? Do you understand all the jargon that lies behind all that pointing and clicking? Does it take you hours to find out "why that stupid graphic just won't go where you want it?"
